Bird ID Request.
E mail from Nelson L. 26th Sept 2012
When we went to Stone Harbor Point there were hundreds of these birds in the area. Not sure what they were. Any idea? Should have zoomed in for a better ID. These pictures are a blowup from a far away shot. IMG 5198 Versions 2 &3.

I managed to make version 2 a bit lighter. Barbara and I both feel rairly confident that these are Tree Swallows. They are often seen in quite large flocks perced on bushes and foraging over fields and water.
I photographed a Male Tree Swallow (right) when we were in Vermont a few years ago.
