Birds at Titchwell - July 2013

The purpose of this entry on Gruffalump's Page is two-fold:-

  1. To display a few images taken at the Titchwell Bird Reserve during a one day visit in July 2013.
  2. To explore various ways in which the Wikidot Gallery facility can be used to display images.

To use the facility go into edit mode and type gallery in double squared brackets - "gallery" must be on one line by itself.

I managed to get a few good shots of this bird - if you point at the picture and click once you should see a bigger image - if you then place your pointer in the top, right hand area you should see the word NEXT. Click on next and you will see the next image. If you place your pointer in the top, left area you will see PREV so you can go back if you wish.

  • The first 3 images show two Avocet Chicks and one adult Avocet.
  • Images 4, 5 and 6 are Canada Geese, Red-legged Partridge (photographed on the road up to Chosely Barn) and Spotted Redshank. Correction - image 6 is a Ruff - thanks are due to Robert D and Tom G - see Recent Forum Posts.
  • Images 7, 8 and 9 are the Sedge Warbler on the reeds at Titchwell.
