Car Trip To Hilbre

Four of us enjoyed a very good day out on Hilbre during the car trip there in September 2015. Here are some of my photos.

Ringed Plovers were the commonest waders seen on the island.

The Ringed Plovers posed nicely on the rocks.

There was a Rock Pipit hopping about in a small pool.

The main wader flock was mixed Ringed Plover and Dunlin.
