Peregrine Chick At South Stack

During 2014 the resident Peregrine Falcons at the RSPB South Stack reserve on Anglesey decided to build their eyrie very close to the public viewing area. This provided an excellent opportunity for nest photography which would normally not be possible since these are highly protected birds.

The chick was quite well grown when I visited and spent much of its time on flapping and wing exercising. The actual nest is in the bottom right corner of the frame. (Video by Robert D).
